How do we teach Technology Applications, make it relevant to students grades K-5, and at little to no cost? Integrate it with the core curriculum and use free web resources. This presentation tells how Cleburne ISD has created and implemented a Technology Applications skills based curriculum integrating K-5 grade level subject areas. A new Tech Apps curriculum was written integrating devices in the district, keyboarding, digital citizenship, and Technology Applications TEKS. This was taught in the computer labs as part of the specials rotation, but could be adjusted to a grade level or classroom. We have finished our first year, revised, and ready to advance to more rigorous skills next year.
